At the start of this year we made tremendous change to work with a new jewelry manufacturer, a huge step for our small business. Since starting in our garage in 2017 we have partnered with other independent jewelers over the years as our business grew to keep up with the demand. During that time we never imagined that someday our jewelry would actually be made by a company who's portfolio includes some of the most famous and prestigious jewelry brands on earth. We are so proud to partner with our new manufacturer who is family run, USA based, and the first Fairmined certified manufacturer. They have been making the world's best jewelry for the last 30 years. They have taken our vision of ethically made quality fine jewelry and brought it to the next level.
Nothing makes us happier than getting your feedback which is why we personally read each and every review, comment and email. This year we have enjoyed hearing how your Valley Rose jewelry was a major part of all your engagements, anniversaries, and birthdays. We are so grateful for your support and look forward to being a part of your biggest milestones in the years to come.
You asked and we listened, this year we released 20+ new bridal styles to fit most every style and budget. After many requests for different stone cuts and combinations we decided to expand our offering to showcase the designs our team is capable of. We carefully consider every design detail and instead of going for the ultra-trendy we focused on designs that will stand the test of time and make beautiful heirlooms for many years to come.
Nothing gets us more giddy and excited than innovation. We have been following Aether Air Lab diamonds since they first came on the market a few years ago. This past year they pivoted their business to start supplying other jewelers diamonds and we ran to get our hands on the first diamonds in their collection. So many of you went with an Aether diamond this year and we couldn't be prouder to provide you with such an incredible stone choice. For those of you that don't know Aether diamonds are made in a lab, but instead of using carbon that comes out of the ground 100% of these diamonds are made from carbon pollution. Each diamond is carbon negative offsetting hundreds of pounds of CO2. Not only are they gorgeous to look at but they are making a huge impact on our environment and to us that is true beauty.
In February we pulled off our first trade show in New York City. It was such an incredible learning experience and we have made some new friends and new accounts in the process. We can't wait to go back and try out more trade shows after our new baby gets a little bigger.
This year of the Rabbit lived up to the prosperity promises for our business. After taking some time off in 2022 because of our California to Barcelona move it was time to get Valley Rose up and running again. This year was all about connecting the dots, streamlining logistics and making sure everything was running smoothly. We can officially say we are on the other side of this enormous endeavor and our collection is better than ever. We look forward to continuing to improve our jewelry designs, customer service and provide you with beautiful ethical jewelry for all of your most important milestones in the years to come.
